Maatson Trucking School’s commercial driver training programs helps gets your career moving.

The Maatson CDL training experience begins in our office in Ventura, CA. We offer one on one on the road training with our experienced trainers. There are small class sizes for learning the first few hours of your training referred to as “theory”.  We offer the “theory” training for air brakes and inspections in the classroom – which is the truck!

Our physical office is where the administration folks handle enrollment, training materials and scheduling your training. We are a professional truck driving school with a “real” office to meet with your trainer and address any administrative duties.  You don’t sign up in the back of a trailer at our school – we are the real deal.

Our Trucks

We invest in trucks that are in compliance with the state of California and pass all DMV inspections to allow students to test the CA DMV without being turned away because trucks are old or not in compliance.  We are fully insured protecting our equipment, students and trainers.

Our trucks are the “real deal” – no cheater trucks.  We have 48” full box trailer and 10 speed manual transmission.  If you want to become a professional truck driver, then train on a manual transmission allows you to get your CDL with no restrictions vs. with manual transmission you will have restrictions on your license.  Again, Maatson Trucking School is the “real deal” if you want to become a “real” professional truck driver with no restrictions and drive the big rigs!

There are many options available to you when you are looking for professional truck driving training so you can ultimately test and receive your professional truck driver license. Maatson Trucking School provides hands-on training in “one-on-one” training environment. The training is conducted in company owned trucks for “future truck drivers” who obtain a valid permit – then we can begin your truck driver future with behind the wheel training in the “big rig” with one of our professional instructors.

Manny Sarabia is the school’s Training Director and has been committed to the trucking business for over 30 years. Manny is a professional and licensed truck driver and has been educating and training “future truckers” for over 11 years. In the Ventura, CA area where Manny spent the last 11 years training, he has put hundreds of truck drivers on the road empowering them with the skills to become a professional truck driver. Manny’s list of references is happily shared!!Manny and his team ensure “future truckers” learn the safety skills as well as the driving skills to help you obtain your Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) from the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
